長毛梁國雄出席城市論壇後與數名圍觀人士罵戰，並稱遭人恐嚇，他其後到警署投訴警員執法不力。

候任立法會議員梁國雄首次出席城市論壇，他發言時已多番受到圍觀的「維園阿伯」叫囂騷擾，他在論壇結束後，沒有乘坐港台安排的車輛離開，而堅持步行離去，但即被數名「維園阿伯」圍著，並以租言穢言辱罵。長毛與他們「理論」，繼而爆發罵戰，長毛說「不會向惡勢力屈服」，期間有人聲言「要斬」他，場面一度混亂，要由警員分隔人群。

長毛其後在港台安排的保安人員和警員護送下離開，他隨即去到北角警署報案，並投訴警方執法不力，沒有對恐嚇他的人採取行動。
