Congratulation on your winning of the LegCo election. Although you have been considered as "too radical" by some, I understand that this is your way to raise public concern on the causes you were fighting for. Your approach has proven to be successful in that you got public attention on many social issues on which the government and the Beijing supporters have kept a blind eye.

I disagree with some views that you are too idealistic. In fact, Hong Kong needs more people like you. I came to Hong Kong 12 years ago to teach in a university and was amazed at how pragmatic and materialistic hong kong people (including college students) were. Stock market and property market were the favorite subjects. The support for you this year shows that Hong Kong people, especially the young people are more passionate about social issues and political freedom. I believe you play a vital role in this new phenomenon.

Now that you become a legislative member. You cannot fight them using the same radical approach during your demonstration. Those people only think of you as a street demonstrator. You must show them your brain. I watched you debate with others on TV and I listened to your interview on radio talk show. You are a man of substance and knowledge. Show them what you got with that same passion and enthusiasm. Most of all, show them your BIG heart.
