Congratulation on your election to Legco!

Heard about your concern over whether you would be taxed on the full legco salary instead of on the $12K/month you leave yourself as living expenses. I don't think the government will or for that matter should make an exception on this. In other words, you will prbably be taxed on the full amount of your Legco salary. What you can do, however, is instead of leave yourself just $12K per month, leave yourself an amount big enough to cover your $12K per month living expenses PLUS the required salaries tax.
