首先恭祝閣下成為來屆的立法會議員，也許現今世界為公義而奮鬥的義士愈來愈少，而一些空喊口號的所謂民主派議員只是穿著民主的外衣，卻沒有實踐民主理念的過程。本人希望閣下能夠在「發育不全」選舉制度的議會內，積極為一些社會低下階層，貧苦公眾辦事，不斷鞭策特區政府錯誤的政策，即使閣下孤軍作戰應付一批議會內的商界利益集團時，公眾將會在背後默默支撐閣下的行動。

在中國問題上，本人只希望閣下能夠「擇善固執」，即使現在中國沒有共產黨的支配，中國仍然需要發展民主政體，一個政權只是代表中國歷史的一小段，但是一個成熟的民主政體卻能延續一個民族的發展與興衰。閣下是一位堅持傳統「馬克思主義」的信徒，但是作為一個忠實馬克思主義的信徒時，卻承認民主制度是促進社會主義達到成功的基本要素，從這些觀點來看，本人深信閣下從政的理想‧理念，是盡量建設一個能夠理想國/烏托邦，即使這個烏托邦還是一個夢想。

最後，本人再次祝福閣下能夠在未來四年議會生涯下，完成公眾所思所想的使命，一個充滿使命感的義士形象將會永遠載入史冊，永遠受到公眾社會人士的尊重。
