在人民力量推送下，名列港府「四大惡人」名單的「長毛」梁國雄和「大班」鄭經翰將成為香港立法會新科議員，敢衝的長毛、敢言的大班，一向批評中共和港府不遺餘力，預料將為議會文化帶來極大衝擊。

梁國雄是「四五行動」創始人之一，在香港回歸之前就已是街頭抗爭悍將，經常抬著棺材到處衝撞示威，以棺木象徵天安門事件死難者。回歸後被視為人權與自由的象徵，在示威行動經常衝擊警方警戒線，也曾在立法會旁聽席上高呼「打倒董建華」而被架走，甚至還為了示威坐牢。

他因為一頭長髮被稱為「長毛」，雖然每回入獄頭髮都會挨剪，但長髮已成他的註冊商標，他的「制服」則是有拉丁美洲革命英雄格瓦拉肖像的運動衫。立法會的服裝規定恐
怕不容梁國雄如此穿著，但體內流著抗爭血液的他恐怕不會吃這一套。

他篤定當選後高舉雙臂慶祝，向支持者說：「叫我長毛就好，不必叫什麼梁議員。」還沒正式當選，他已在考慮就職時是否宣誓效忠「基本法」，並誓言不改抗爭風格，堅為
小市民喉舌。
