東鐵過海幣處：
１．東鐵減至九卡，雖增加班次亦不能彌補運載力大減
２．來自馬鐵乘客會選擇在大圍站轉乘東鐵過海，而不是在紅磡站轉東鐵。東鐵過海計畫令馬鐵乘客在大圍站開始流向東鐵，令大圍站以南的一段東鐵成為樽頸位，加上東鐵減至九卡，勢必令東鐵十分擠迫。
３．建議照原先方案讓馬鐵過海，東鐵可維持十二卡。另東鐵可以繼續在尖沙咀站轉地鐵過海。加上馬鐵居民可以沿鑽石山九龍城站過海，不須在大圍轉東鐵，亦舒緩了東鐵的擠迫。
４．另外，慈雲山及黃埔輕鐵接駁系統亦為多此一舉。慈雲山局民可以乘搭十方便的小巴，輕鐵接駁系統根本不及小巴方便。小巴途經慈雲山多個公共屋村及屋宛，市民只需步往樓下即可乘小巴。慈雲山輕鐵接駁系統亦會打擊小巴司機生計，若讓慈雲山輕鐵接駁系統直接競爭，輕鐵多數會輸，到時田北晨為政府經營的鐵路業務，又要用行政手段削減小巴線，就像今天西鐵的情況一樣。
