I just don't want to mess them up. You know, in America, there are all sorts of talk shows and it is always these kids talking about how it is all their parents fault that they are horrible people. Crawling out from under his wings, she shook out her scales and let them settle before she turned her eyes back to him. I miss spending time with you, Zidane. She murmured, her voice lowering as she dipped her head so she could gaze into his eyes thoughtfully. I feel like we were just starting to grow close and then the whelps were born and....we just don't have time for us to...to get closer. Her head nuzzled under his neck, like a small whelp seeking comfort would. She had been starting to fall in love with him, starting to feel like she knew him even in his human form but they hadn't had anytime after the whelps were born to really try and deepen their own relationship. She nuzzled that soft spot right beneath his jaw, where he was the most vulnerable. I am sorry about your family, Dane. It was a quick change of subject but she had been kind of throwing herself out there with what she had been discussing before and that made her uncomfortable and...well...scared. He wasn't exactly the most affectionate guy in human form although in his dragon he was a good and protective mate. Really, she had nothing to complain about. She had a strong mate, a warm keep and healthy bairns...there was no reason to be so out of sorts. She had sworn Durgan to secrecy but she had actually gone to him a few weeks earlier. She wasn't open...completely with him but she had told him she had been feeling sad recently and he said that it was normal for a woman to feel that way after a bairn was born. He had told her to discuss it with her mate but had sworn him to secrecy and told him that she would talk to him in her own time.
