(He was just about to slip into what had been a promisingly brooding sort of sleep when she started to speak and his eyes opened again. As she spoke, he lay there quietly, letting her voice wash over him as she told him how she felt.. and he envied her eloquance. If he had been able to say half as much as she had he would have told her volumes about the depths of his feelings. He sighed, the shivered lightly as she licked his skin, nipping back at her playfully before rubbing his cheek up and down her shoulder. He knew exactly how she felt.. for he had been kidnapped and had felt so outside of himself during those first weeks of freedom that he had had no idea who he was any longer.) I followed the scent of gold that afternoon, lass.. and I found a gem more precious than all of my treasures combined. (He murmured back to her, nuzzling into her neck. WHen she nipped him, he thought perhaps he had said something wrong, and lifted his head, elegant neck arched so that he could look down at her. It was the amusement shining in her blue gaze that made him smile, white teeth flashing. He rolled his eyes as well as a dragon can roll his eyes, then let out a relieved sounding breath.) Aye, well, yer with me because I kidnapped ye.. but I thank the Gods that ye remain wi' me.. that's for sure. (He felt a shift as she lowered her head to his shoulder, and turned his head a bit more, lowering it so that the tip of his muzzle rested at the base of her skill.) Does it hurt terribly, lass? (He wanted so desperately to take that pain from her. He nibbled lightly at her skin, grooming the feathery scales atop her crown.)
