His eyes dropped back down to Bree as he contemplated the options of what they could do with the lass. He agreed that it would be best to get her to the keep if that was possible but he wasn't all that sure that it was a plausiable idea to move her right then. "I donnae ken, lad. I donnae think she will be waking up, much less shifting tonight so ye would have to take her in the form she is in now." He shrugged a little, not doubting his brothers strength but he didn't want to put any lives at risk to move the lass. Still, it would be the best thing for her health if they could get her to go into the keep instead of being outside. Normally it would be in the whelps best intrest to stay out in the fresh air but it would not do them any harm to be inside, not like it might do there mam harm to be outside all night. It was impossible not to notice how Dane was so much more concerned with the lass now and how he was completely given over to her and that gave him a little bit of hope that maybe Dane might have some influence on her. "Mayhap ye can get her to rouse enough to shift to her human form, aye? T'would be easier for her to heal like that instead of in her dragon." He shrugged his broad shoulders helplessly and gazed over at his brother before turning his sight back to Bree once more and then, finally, dropping it to the eggs. "Aye, they are quite a sight, they are." He grinned suddenly, remembering Dane's words. "Och, for all ye ken they could be all lassies or all lads." Only he knew what the sexes of the bairns were and he wasn't giving up any information. "Aye, each of them is precious but I cannae help but wish perhaps her first clutch had been smaller. We could hear her screams even at Lallybroch, the lasses were holding a vigil for her, led by Heather." He paused a moment, thoughtfully. Even Heather only had three her first hatching and wee Bree had five." At that thought he cocked his head, looking to Dane again. "How did she handle kenning the last was nay finished?"
