He shrugged a little, having never been a big fan of learning or anything like that. Unlike his older brother Durgan, he was not the scholary sort. A yawn escaped his lips as she began stroking his cheek and his eyes slowly drifted shut. "Anya..." He murmured finally after a few long minutes. "If I were to leave Lallybroch, would ye go with me?" He had been planning to leave for some time now but it just wouldn't feel right to leave his best friend behind. He needed her to keep him level and not let the weight of the world bear down until he just felt like collapsing under the burden. His brow furrowed a little as he looked up at her, yawning softly for a moment before he laid his head back down, waiting a bit impatiently for his answer. "I ken that ye wouldnae want to leave yer family but mayhap ye could come back and see them from time to time." His brother would have the issue with him, not Anya and he wouldn't be so cruel as to not let the lass see the family who had taken her in. At least, he hoped his brother wouldn't be that cruel but Dane had been suprising him frequently. A low breath escaped his lips as he relaxed under her stroking hands, thinking about how she knew how to relax him better then anyone he had ever known in his life. It was no wonder they were such close friends when she was such a sweet girl who knew him so well. Someday, she would make someone a fine mate, he was sure of that. He'd have to make sure to set the guy in line before they bonded but that would be easy enough to handle when he was fully grown.
