Subject: Inside
In reply to: Bree/Durgan/Kerri 's message, "inside" on 07/30/07 4:33pm

(He felt the heat of Dane's anger even as he backed away from the angry female before him, his thoughts on Kerri and the fact that she was unused to a dragon's temper. He had seen Zidane pacing and snorting in annoyance during the time they had been in captivity, but he had never seen the dragon lose control like this female was. He brought his arm up and gently shoved Kerri behind him as he watched the goings on with some interest. It seemed the female was a lot more attached to Dane now than when he had seen her last.. in fact, she had been trying to escape before but now she was.. well, she looked like a female who was in love and didn't know it. He felt Dane trying to break their connection and fought the magyck as it built up, not wanting Dane to seperate from him before it was the proper time. The dragon was much too weak as yet to be on his own, which was made even more obvious by the fact that Tiernan was able to stop his spell before he could even get halfway through it. A snort of heat crossed his neck as Dane lifted his head so that it was near Tiernan's ear, gazing at his mate with narrowed eyes.) (He did not like to see Bree so upset.. and even more so he did not like to his brother forcibly restraining her. He was about to reach out to Durgan and ask him not so politely to leave off.. but then she was biting him and he wasn't all that sure he had to intervene. It seemed that Durgan was the one who needed assistance here. He opened his maw, sort of like a dog panting, is tongue lolling a little as he surveyed the scene. Gods, he was tired.. even his wings drooped by his sides as though they needed a nap. His tail snaked up to wrap more firmly around Tiernan's neck as the man moved to walk outside with his brother. It was odd, listening to Durgan speak aloud when he so rarely did, and he cocked his head slightly to listen. As they left the room, he breathed fire towards Tiernan's ear, his way of casting the spell that would bond them closer and allow Tiernan to commune with Durgan mentally through him. His gaze shifted then, lingering on the form of his mate as they eased out of the room.) (He patted the dark red outline of dane's tail where the end was swishing catlike over his heart. He didn't like feeling the agitation that was running through the male, and felt bad for stopping him from seperating.. but he had done what needed to be done. Durgan was right.. Dane was much too weak for all of this, he needed to rest and couldn't very well do that with his female freaking out. Outside on the balcony, he leaned against the railing and looked out over the lands that Dane called home, realizing after a few moments why the dragon had gone home. This place was beautiful, breathtaking really.. and seeing dragons fly about the place without a care in the world was something to behold. He looked over at Durgan, feeling the difference in their mental bond and knowing he could commune to the deaf dragon much more easily now. He left the railing and followed Durgan down the steps that would lead them to the great hall in search of food.) I am sure it is very safe, what with women shapeshifting and biting people. (He said, though his tone was laced with humor, not sarcasm. He felt bad for Durgan, who had only been trying to help.. and felt a little nervous leaving Kerri with a biter.)
