(He made a soft groaning sound as she reminded him that they had company, as if he could possibly forget when the dragon was peering over his shoulder at the woman he wanted to make love to. It was making him both aroused and possessive to know that Dane was there.. and well, that was a little disconcerting.) I ken it well enough.. but yer so beautiful. (He murmured, leaning down to press a kiss to her cheek after she had kissed his pulse. It was going to be so hard for him to resist the pull of this woman. As she laid down he got up, heading over to the fireplace under the pretense of checking to make sure it would stay lit all night. Dane craned his head around, peering at Kerri from Tiernan's back. The red dragon was spread magnificently across the broad plane of Tiernan's back, wings slightly spread as though to keep his balance. Mostly it was because he had been in the middle of preening himself in preparation for going to sleep, trying to get his mind off the fact that his mate was in their bed alone upstairs. His gaze darkened as he watched Kerri settle under the sheets, even though it was Tiernan she waited for. Tiernan returned to Kerri's side after a few moments, feeling marginally better until he had settled under the sheets and felt the warmth of her body beside him.. the promise of her tight heat held so temptingly away from him. He grinned in a wolflike manner.) I feel like I did that first night when we lay together. (He said softly, since his stomach had curled into that same nervous knot of tension. He didnt quite understand it, and blamed it on the fact that his body was yearning for her but couldnt have her. What it was really from was the red dragon that was peering over his shoulder at Kerri. It was the combination of nervous lusts warring within him. He reached out, running the backs of his fingers down her cheek, his thumb across her lips. It would be so easy to disregard Dane's presense and make love to this woman.. his fiance. He lifted up and made to lean over her, to kiss her and draw her into his arms, and was half way there when a growl sounded in the air. Dane was crouched on his shoulder, tail whipping back and forth, eyes narrowed and teeth bared. He sighed.. apparently there would be no kissing tonight.)
