Hesitating for only a moment, she shifted to scoot closer to him, settling herself beneath his arm and gazing at the book in his hands. Her eyes widened a touch at the sight of the egg and she let out a soft, thoughtful breath for a moment before speaking. "The eggs are so big. I was thinking of talking to Heather about the...delivering..process but I think it would freak me out to much to hear about it before hand." Shaking her head, she nuzzled her cheek against his bare chest and read along with him. "I don't know if my mother was a white dragon or not. I never even knew she was a dragon." Obviously they had known what she was when she was born otherwise they wouldn't have worked so hard to keep her hidden and alienated from others like her. Her eyes skimmed the lines and she sighed softly, her brow furrowed a little. "Sometimes I wish I was just a normal dragon, maybe a blue one like Arric. Water is fun to play with." Then she wouldn't have to think about things like how she could accidently blow someone up. Arric couldn't blow someone up. One small hand lifted to rest on his abdomen, feeling the muscles contract and ripple beneath her touch. Dane was such a strong dragon, he had the ability to kill people also but he knew how to control himself, how to use his powers the way they were meant to be used. A soft yawn escaped her lips as she laid quietly now next to him, letting him read. Without realizing she was doing it, she absently petted the skin of his stomach, tracing the rivlets his muscles made with the tip of her finger. This was kind of nice actually, a bit relaxing, to just lay here in the dim light, his arms around her while they read. Well, more like while he read and she kind of just followed along every once in awhile.
