She was so busy reveling in the beauty of the night that she didn't even hear the rustle of wings above her nor the footsteps of a man near her. She tended to get enraptured by the secrets of the night, so wrapped up that she was in her own world of thoughts and fantasies, blocking out all around her. Plus, her powers were so under developed that there was no way she would sense a dragon nearby with just her instincts. The only things she knew were different about her than other people was that she had a keen sense of eyesight and an uncanny desire for shiny things. Once, when she was just a child, she had been at the mall with her mother and nearly gave Fiona a heart attack when she took off, running through the crowds only to disappear into a jewelery store. When she told her mother that she heard someone singing in the store, Fiona had gotten very upset and they had left the mall immediatly. It hadn't been a good day, her mother had locked herself in the bedroom and her father had spent a good hour in there with her before he came out to play with Sabrina for awhile. She hadn't seen her mother again until the next day and then Fiona had acted like nothing was amiss. Along with that peculiarity, she was a bit faster than everyone else her age and a bit more agile but that was nothing super unusual, she thought. With a comfortable sigh, she opened her eyes once more and was about to flop down to lay in the heather when her eyes lit upon the man. They widened as they took in his large physique, the rippling bare muscles and then the intensity of his gaze as he circled her. The hair on the back of her neck stood up, her brow furrowed. All the men in the clan that had 'adopted' her were large and most devastatingly good look but none of them gave off the vibes that this man did. She took a step back, her lips pursed thoughtfulyl and she was just about to speak when he shifted into the magnificent large best. Desperately, she wanted to go forward and touch him, to inspect this dragon that outshone all the others she had seen but there was something different to him, something raw and feral. He didn't give off the friendly vibes that the dragons here did. She was utterly fascinated with the creatures and had gotten many a ride from a few of the younger - and older - males in the clan, everyone humored her and seemed amused and pleased with her interest in them. This one though, there was something almost feral about him and suddenly she knew she needed to get away and get to the clan. Without a seconds hesitation, she spun around and took off, instinct telling her she needed to get to the woods and hide among the tree's because there he wouldn't be able to spread his wings. The woods was a distance away though, the clearing and spacious and for the first time she cursed that as she flew across the ground. The flowing skirt she was wearing made for easy running, which she was suddenly thankful for. It was a nice outfit, comfortable and easy to move in and she had been grateful for it since the clan was pretty set in the back ways and didn't have washing machines. Being the american girl she was, she had decided instead of washing clothes in the river, she would just wear all she had until she got a chance to take them somewhere or buy some. Unfortunantly, that chance hadn't come but then some of the women had given her like five outfits identicle to this one...
