She listened to him with rapt attention, her desire falling away as she focused on his instructions. She let out a soft breath, testing things as he told them to her before she looked over at him, her eyes a little unsure. You'll be there if I start to fall, right? Before their little tiff that night she would never have even stopped to ask the question, would have just known that he would but now that she had found out that he worded his promises to work for him, it made her a little less trusting than she had been. She for a second, gathering herself before she let out a soft breath, swallowing deeply. Nerves had a her failing a few times, as she had before when she tried to change back in her human form but on the third try she got it and was able to float a little above the ground, keeping herself up with the wind currents. She arched her head proudly, grinning a toothy smile as she softly flapped her wings that were nearly translucent in the moon light. "I'm doing it!" She exclaimed in excitement, bringing her bright eyes over to him. She couldn't wait to try more, to go higher in the air and soar like he and Durgan did but she was still just a little hesitant and waiting for his assurance that he would be there to catch her if she started to fall - he had done that before, when he'd had her in his arms and she'd shifted. She knew he was capable of doing it but...there was some lingering doubts thanks to their fights that made her want to have his word. He had distracted her from the memories of it with his nuzzles and affections but now that her hormones had settled down, she was thinking about it once more - this time with sadness instead of anger.
