(Nonetheless, she preened under his gentle touch as she always did, scooting slightly closer to him without really thinking of it. She was getting really into the mystery of this whole thing. Evie might not have been a member of her clan for very long.. but she had definitely gotten a good handle on the clan's legends.) Anyways, she said that there is a legend passed down about the black dragon that will take control of the clan and bring them back to their former glory. Tis said that the male will be born a silver dragon.. and will be raised apart from the clan. This male will meet a moonsick princess.. and will awaken to his true form. (She shifted then, so that she was partially on her stomach and propped up on her elbows, looking at him with passion in her eyes. The whole tale was so primal, so fierce.. so mysterious and romantic and she was totally convinced he was the chosen one.) Okay, so I was halfway sure ye have to be the male to save the black dragons.. cause, well, ye did change colors, and because Evie is a moonsick princess.. (She let out a sigh, and grinned like she knew something sinful.) ..but I had to be sure before I came to talk to ye, cause I kent ye would be all skeptical and whatever. So when I was leavin, I snuck into the library and into that secret area where the family texts are kept.. and it turns out that back when the wars were going on, a lot of the royals from the black clan defected because it wasna safe to be black. And one of the males mated with a red female.. and one of the whelps from their second clutch is yer grandmother. (She reached out and grabbed his hand, letting out a soft squeal.) Ye are the savior of the blacks, Kaden.. ye have to be..
