His startled cry - not to mention the fact that he'd called her by her full name - grabbed her attention and she jumped a touch, spinning around to eye the pair of them. "What?!" Her heart was pounding in fear before she saw that everyone was fine and only then did her head tip curiously. When she saw the small plume of fire coming out of her baby's mouth, her jaw dropped and her eyes widened as she looked to her mate for some idea of what the heck was going on with the bairn. When he looked so joyful, and then roared out his pleasure, she laughed, shaking her head in awe. She didn't understand what the big deal was until she realized that earlier he had said that they wouldn't be able to use their fire until they were much, much older. Apparantly, her baby was gifted and that made her just as proud as Dane was. A grin crossed her lips as the lad's eyes caught hers and he launched himself at her, jumping and almost knocking her over. Apparantly, the boy already had a fondness for his mam. Her arms went around him, thinking that he was a bit heavy already for being a newborn but she grinned as his tail snaked around her bicep and his head rested on her shoulder, though his eyes remained on his father as thought he was a large toy that he just couldn't wait to play with again - once he had regained some energy. Noises from the nest drew her attention and she grinned a touch, looking down at the eggs as they started to crack farther. "Look's like your siblings are going to be joining us today also." Her eyes moved to look down at the smallest egg, raising a brow. "Except for one, apparantly." She looked over her shoulder at the large red dragon with pride and excitement on his features who was currently taking up the entire balcony. "Come in and watch your other bairns enter the world, Zidane." Her voice was soft and beckoning, her gaze just as gentle and completely loving as she gazed at him - the sounds of the other dragons roaring in congratulations still echoing around the keep.
