Bat feces may contain several different diseases of which some are airborne especially when disturbed. The safest way to clean it up is to hire a professional experienced in the field. Special respirators and clothing are required to accomplish this safely. Special cleaners and disinfectants are also used. Again, I would not try this yourself. Any activity in the attic will only cause the feces and urine to become airborne.

This is a time to spend the money and have it done safely and right, by a professional.
