Subject: Pests in attic
I have had something living in my attic for at least 4 months. We've eliminated mice because there are several mouse traps set,mouse and rat bait all over and no sign of mice. Not one in the traps. There is no sign of bats. We thought perhaps there is a squirrel or chipmunk and have put rat traps up there. I heard the pest in the vicinity of the traps but it doesn't go into them. We used peanut butter for bait. I don't hear running or scrambling. I do hear snapping sounds. they get down into the walls. What do you think is up there and what more can we do. Ihave called Pest Control. they are as baffled as we are.
