Boy you can say that again. I try hardto stay away from meat all together..but every holiday season the pressure starts again. I wish people culd learn to celebrate things without food being the centerpeice. It seems that people dont usually understand that "just one piece is okay" to a bulimic... is like saying "just one bullet is okay" It can set up a chain of events. No one would consider saying to a former alcoholic "oh, just try one little drink" They would see it as immoral to tempt someone who is on the wagon. BUt Its hard to get most people to understand how similiar this is. Me, I try to work on ALL holidays ( and the days just before and after.) It seems to help me a bit. That way if they send over a late I can just dump it. I know that might sound insensitive, but thats what i do.
Take care,
Dawn
