I think everyone here is just a little heated right now. I wish I never started the thread. It is just that I hoped everyone voted here in the states, because everyone's vote is important. One of my best friends voted for Bush, I didn't, but who am I to say that her opinion is any less valid. It is in fact her opinion, and I am happy she voted. And yes, I still love the girl!
It is just so sad to see how easily miscommunication and misunderstanding can fuel arguements. I truthfully believe that no one's intentions were to be unkind. In reading all of what Catherine, Deb, and yourself wrote, it seems that what went wrong is that people stopped attacking the issue and started attacking the person. This I apologize for.
I hope you come back sometime. I'm sure everyone is tired of arguement, if they haven't already been scared away. And all political issues asside, people are people. Opinions vary, but equality does not.
