I’ve had a number of emails and questions regarding the recovery forum I was running and what happened to it. I sincerely apologize for not getting email messages out to those of you who were participating…I hope this explains what’s been going on in my life for the last week and why I spur of the moment took the action I did. This is only the last 5-6 days…….

1) Business trip to Corp. Office in Alabama – a quick 2 days of meet & greet & intense training (Mon & Tues)
2) Organizing my parents’ 45th wedding anniversary party on my own from 1500 miles away (made my own invitations mailed them out and am talking to the place on the phone daily with headcounts and updating menu choices, making flower arrangements, etc.
3) Making travel arrangements for employees going to Europe (Germany), Korea, Hawaii and organizing flights and car pools for 10 different people flying in from all over the country for a training seminar this Monday in Washington, D.C.
4) Organizing company Christmas party for my home office
5) Organizing company Christmas party for our D.C. Office
6) In-processing 4 new employees – 3 of which are in D.C.
7) Terminating one employee in Arizona
8) Trying to finish Christmas shopping before the 22nd when we take plane trip to MA
9) Trying to finish everything else in the office so I CAN take a week off to go to MA to see my family
10) And the hardest: Putting our baby kitty to sleep after he tested a 3rd time for feline leukemia (something I wasn’t expecting or prepared for
11) Watching my husband and older baby kitty grieve while I try to hold it together (making them both eat their meals, taking care of them) while trying not to fall apart myself
12) Dealing with someone who only came on the board to spout political rhetoric instead of talking about her ED – something I have ALWAYS gotten my back up about…when people went off topic or got too graphic. I have never held back from expressing my opinions, feelings and thoughts about that yet somehow everyone seems to think I’m some kind of figurehead who apparently isn’t human because I’m not allowed feelings, or my feelings to be hurt…I’m not allowed to have a bad day and complain. I’m not allowed to cry when my heart is breaking…it’s all too much at the moment and I’m doing everything I can to not completely break down but keep going.

That’s why I deleted The Lemon Tree but I again apologize for not being organized enough to send out messages to everyone involved for my reasons for doing so. I know how it feels to try to logon to a site that has suddenly disappeared and I’m truly sorry for any anxiety it may have caused any of you wonderful people.

Be there for each other and be well.

Love,
Deb
