If you're talking about search engines such as google where you type in something you're looking for and it will bring up all previous searches that start with the same letter, then be sure to delete all before you log off each time. I don't know shortcuts if there are any but what you do is this. When you first start to type and a list of previouses come up, use your mouse to scroll down the list, one at a time and hit delete each time. Eventually you'll delete everything that started with that letter.

To ensure this doesn't happen, I believe what you do is reset your temporary internet settings. To do that you go into Tools (like you do to delete your cookies and temp. files). Right next to the cookies and temp files tabs there's another tab that says settings. Click on that and it should offer you a choice of checking for newer versions of temporary internet files. Make sure it's disabled or if you're given the choice of sometimes check, or never check, click on the never check.

See if that works. Sorry I don't know any shortcuts. Good luck.

Deb
