Subject: I think my marketing program is just feeling sorry for my team now!

Anyone who has heard me complain over that last couple of weeks will know that I have been participating in a marketing simulation game and that game requires me to do marketing and production decisions for an imaginary company! While our stock prices have decreased this period the funny thing is that our allowable budget...to be used on marketing and other expenses has actually INCREASED! But another thing that has increased is the loan payments that we have to make to the stupid bank, who took 5 million off us in one period and is making us pay it back even though we did not USE it!

So I think the program is feeling sorry for us, I mean, there is no other explaination! It took 900K of our advertising budget making our product look crap on the market this period and if we do NOTHING this period, we will be able to meet the principal payment on the loan!

So who says computers were just machines? At least the designer of the marketing program have a back-up plan for the failures and that my friends is what is keeping my team from sinking to the lowest of lows! Looks like I won't have to kill the makers of the stupid program after all!
