This is what we believe in TCM:
The heart is the center of the emotions, but the body itself is a whole. Therefore, even though the heart is know as the center of emotions...each other organ/channel is also responsible for a separate emotion.
eg. Liver is related to Anger...and others..I don't recall to much...

Anyways, the reason why you feel it in your stomach may be because it's affecting the "stomach" emotion...OR it could also be due to the Heart's internal connection to the Stomach...

Okies...enough for me...my head is spinning already...
