what really gets me about the heart thing is that the stomach is actually the origin of emotions! (or at least that's what we learnt in biological psychology ^^)
And, well, for me, I experience all my greatest emotions in the stomach area - like happy feelings, feeling "sick to your gut", etc...sometimes when I think that something is extraordinarily sweet I get stabbing pains in my stomach!
I dunno....I understand about the heart palpatations and stuff...but what about sweating? And blurry vision? O_o
Some universal decision was made way before any real evidence was formed!
