Si’s 20th BDay Poem

If you want me to stop doing this just tell me :x…..I can stop. I really can.

La poem:

Okay, so I’ll get this out of the way,
And then move on to the good bit,
Si Ting – Nic Nic – a moonlit night,
Her 21st year – myself and CC having a fit…

Si Ting revised her master plan,
Deciding that 30 wasn’t such a good age
(Considering what had just happened)
For children and a happy marriage.

But ya see, Si really isn’t the type
For cleaning, cooking and child care
So Nic Nic determined the time was ripe
To promote house-husbands – they’re all too rare.

So it was up to Si to become a high flyer!
She took on the economics world
And soon, the government was knocking on her door
Demanding to know which monetary value would unfurl…

And this is where the story really takes off
Because DISNEY soon discovered Si
And, as we all know, they’re going through some financial difficulty
And have closed down their 2-D animations bees

But Si said “NO! You’ve got it all backwards!
“What you really need is more music! More songs!
“Something with a message for all the little girls!
“Saying that, before, you got it all wrong!”

“Why is it that hot women always get with ugly men?
“And that it’s WOMEN that have to sacrifice?
“Belle, Cinderella, and of course, Snow White,
“Forever just WAITING for their prince to arrive…”

Si shook her head and the executives were stunned
(They were all male you know. Men telling stories about PRINCESSES)
And Si gathered her herself and said what she thought
“Wasn’t Ariel’s departure rather impetuous??”

“Girls should feel empowered by your movies!
“Not feel they have to wait around until forever
“That it’s not MEN who have all the bargaining power,
“That women can be strong and steadfast and clever?”

“We can rescue ourselves THANK YOU VERY MUCH!”
(As Nic Nic could certainly testify to the many times Si had saved him from a mouse)
“What we need is a heroine that actually DOES some saving!
(“Not that I didn’t absolutely LOVE your past movies! They’re really grouse!”)

So the execs sat down and had a long talk,
And realised Si’s worth was far beyond money
That she could really take them to the next level –
It was a WOMAN rescuing them – isn’t that funny?

They named their next 2-D musical flick “The Legend of Princess Tori”
And it became a massive hit!
It involved a princess, who revived an empire (without using violence XD),
While singing the Academy Award winning song “The Inner Heart” – composed by Nic!

Yes, this began a long and illustrious career
Highlighted by such classics as “Meredith”, “Claudette” and “Si”
(Because, like, most Disney princess movies are just called a name O_o)
And her achievements, the many that there were, were to go down in movie history~!


I am sorry, this is really bad. The beginning was forced. I lost the rhythm in the 3rd verse. The ending is really abrupt. But I still like the story…Next time I should write beforehand…but I guess that would defeat the purpose of doing these things on the spot…anyways…
