] Date Posted: 12:39:00 09/09/08 Tue We have brought back our crowning pin program for anyone who would like to participate... if you have any questions that are not covered here, please email me.. You can earn crowning pins all year long after you compete in your first Miss Georgia state event! Once you have competed once (regardless of how you placed) you can earn your pins! For each appearance, each time you submit photos after a pageant, each time to compete in another event, each time you attend a parade.... you earn a pin! These pins are awarded at the end of the 2008-2009 season along with your finalist sash! The pins are specially made and the contestants that have entered the crowning pin program all qualify to be presented on the pins! For example: If your first event was Miss North Georgia.. you can then earn your pins *if you competed at Miss Douglasville you earn that pin *if you participated in a parade, you earn that pin *if you made an appearance on your own, you earn that pin *if you submitted photos after a pageant, you earn that pin etc... In May 2009 if you are participating in earning these pins, you will fill out the form that will be online... keep up with the things you have participated in.. and you will be eleigible to be the model for a crowning pin! More information on that portion will be posted on the website as well.... Here are just a few rules, but all of the details will be posted on the website.... -All appearance you do on your own must be an organized public event that has to do with your local town or community and must be approved by us first. Photos after the event are mandatory. -Photos submitted after events only include the events in which we do not have a photographer on site -if you have presented your photo in the newspaper as a winner or participant in our pageants, parades or appearances you also earn a pin... look for the information on the website starting this weekend and more ways you can earn your pin!
