My horse was an unfortunate victim of a very sorry excuse of a horse trainer. He kept our horse for 70 days and guaranteed that she would be well-broke and have a handle on her. HA! She suffered cruel training abuse. He beat her in the head, gouged her with his spurs, beat her butt with his reins and God knows what else. It has taken me a long time to regain her confidence and trust. She was more than eager to load in the trailer and come home. She is a very loving horse and does all the ground work beautifully. She just doesn't want to be ridden. This winter we will start in the saddle and hopefully, love and patience will pay off.
