well, i'm kicking off ther halloween season
with a chilling little much despised film
from the makers of 'saw' called "dead silence"
(2007)



i just seen it on encore -- absolutely horrifying!
the people at rotten tomatoes did not agree & only
gave it a 21% positive. it's got all i crave in a
horror film. a creepy poem

a detailed back-story, scared towns folk hiding
a terrible secret, lots of big old dilapidated
mansions, a scary old b-tch, plenty of fog and
atmosphere, and about 100 f-cked up ventriloquist
dummies. And donnie walburg playing a cynical cop
was a bonus. here's a good review of it
