Hey guys,
You've been jumpin around so dang fast I just got caught up. So I'll fill ya in. On abortion, I would like to say that I most closely agree with Heather and Liz on this one. (Gay marriage as well for that matter) I like America because of our freedoms to be; morons or intellectuals, drummers or jocks, KC or everyone else in the world. My point is you get to choose, you are the maker of your own destiny, as far as whether I believe that it is "right" or "wrong". Well I have to say that I am pro-life, now I have heard that term before and I believe that it is used to describe people that are against abortion, I will have to say that I am for saving as many lives as possible, if at all possible, have the child, if this child would cause any damage to the mother, such as paralysis, death, and the such, then by all means save the mother. But in the end I leave this one to freedom.
On Affirmative Action, I did an English paper on the subject so I would like to share some of my ideas on the subject. First of all the quote that is being used in my name is not only not remembered, (which in no way even suggests that I didn't say it) but it is also now entirely disagreed with by the author thereof. Lets face it folks, in the end life IS fair, stop kidding yourselves, you think it's not fair for a good, honest, hard working citizen to come home one day from work, get stabbed, robbed, find his home burnt to the ground, and his family dead? Ha! It serves him right, if that guy didn't get robbed or the other things, THAT would be unfair, that would be unfair to the millions before him who were spared no such mercy. If this guy just walked through life, that would be the injustice, this would be a problem. We all desperately need hardships, and trials. If we didn't get them not only could we consider our lives a complete wash but we should.
So in the case of Affirmative Action, I say I am against it because it shows mans ignorance, (muttering under breath) trying to even the playing field, why I yadda (back to normal speaking voice) If we knew any better we'd understand that living on the rez and living in a billionaires coked out mansion are the same as living any where else, doing anything else, its gonna suck sometimes, and maybe sometimes, it won'ta sucka so bad. Eh?
But what the hey it does the same thing it was designed to prevent, it segregates, makes sure that everyone is well aware of the differences between races, because you know what I think people started getting confused in the 80's they almost started thinking we might be equal or something crazy like that. Good thing for affirmative action, it keeps us up to speed on the ever changing differences between the races, it reminds us everyday, that despite what people are saying, we're not equal. We are as different as can be. And hey in the end it keeps what I am talking about in balance, it keeps the cycle of crap going in order to insure that no self-righteous punk suddenly decides he needs a break. Ha!
