(She arched her brows as she lifted her head to look up at him, amused at his ability to so sincerely state the obvious.. it was endearing. As his hand ran over her rear, she searched his gaze and felt some of the tension that was running through him.. she had had the slight feeling that he was holding back his urge to come on to her the night before when he had so quietly played his video game while she rested.. the way he had shifted as though he were going to reach for her but kept to himself in the long run.
