He didn't want to rush things because he didn't want to hurt her but part of it was for selfish reasons also. He didn't think he could handle it if she turned from him while he was making love to her, if he saw fear in her gaze while he held her eyes from a position intimately positioned above her. His heart couldn't take that and neither could his ego. He was about to say something when she covered her lips with his and he couldn't help the groan that escaped his lips, his eyes closing as his hand came up to gently fist in her hair, holding her lightly to him as his tongue dove eagerly into her mouth, needing to taste her...
