(She had visited him every day while he'd been in the hospital, spending hours sitting beside him, talking quietly with him, sharing the miricle that was their baby with him. Those moments with him made the rest of the day seem empty and short to her, and when she got home to her apartment after visiting hours were over, she found herself looking forward to the next day when she would get to see him. Ever since that first day when the baby had kicked, she had found herself not having to be force fed, it was like the baby found an appetite as well as the energy to keep her awake at two in the morning. Oddly enough, she welcomed it.. embraced it. The baby was giving her an excitement in life, a reason to be happy.. and she had started to buy things for the child, using the small amount of money that she got from the agency to buy little things she thought the baby might like. That morning, it seemed the baby had had a bit of an issue with the oatmeal she'd eaten and she'd been held up when she would have normally shown up at the hospital. By the time she got there, she was just in time to be informed that he had been discharged about two hours earlier. Well, she was just going to have to go see him at his apartment then.. because she wasn't going to let the bit of leeway she'd made slip when it came to being in his life. The baby deserved a father, and not one who couldn't at least be friends with mommy. She'd picked up some groceries, since he'd been out of his apartment for four days, as well as hit the deli for chicken, potatoes and other fixings for an early dinner. She knocked lightly on his door before trying the knob and letting herself in.) Justin? It's me, don't get up. (She called out, smiling when a big black and white head lifted over the top of the sofa.. he was no doubt laying there with the dog, though she couldn't see him since the back of the couch was facing her. She quietly carried her bags into the kitchen and started to unload them, tossing out old and questionable items in the fridge and replacing them with the things she had bought. She laid out the items for dinner and left them to sit, not sure if he was even hungry, but at least they would be there if he was. She saw the bag that Remy or Shay had left on the counter, brown paper, no doubt painkillers and antibiotics. She went through them, checking times and quantities, laying them out on the counter and all the while humming to herself before finally taking the two pills he was due to take and a bottle of water and walking over to the living room area, sitting lightly on the coffee table at his hip. She smirked as she looked down at man and dog, reaching out to ruffle Bambi's ears, listening to the heavy thump of her tail on the sofa.) Hey you. (She said, her eyes shifting to meet his.. Lord, but he was beautiful.. it always seemed to take her breath away to look down at him when he was relaxing. It took the harshness out of his eyes, which seemd to linger when he looked on her since she'd left.) Brought you some pills.
