That woman has been through hell, Reese, she was raped repeatedly, gang raped then got pregnant, then ran off to defend her own honor and got hooked against her will on drugs she couldn't get off and then got locked in a psych ward for months. She should be the one in her having a tantrum, not you, and instead she was trying to make you feel better." He shook his head, frowning. "I hope you don't act like this around Braden, Reese, cuz if you do, he's going to be harshly reminded that you are a seventeen year old kid, not the woman he thinks you are." He crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes narrowing at her on the bed. "Now, when you are done having your fit, there is food in the kitchen."
