He smiled softly, shifting his hand over her tummy in slow circles even as he shifted to stretch out with his head on the pillow next to her. His eyes were soft on hers as he spoke, his voice quiet. "He's sleeping now, sweetheart." He stated softly, tipping his head to the side. "Go on and sleep. I'll be right here." He smiled a little, brushing back her hair from her face before resting his hand on her stomach and closing his own eyes. He wanted her to get some rest and be ok to go shopping with him and have fun without being exhausted. He kind of wanted to just lay there and talk with her too but her rest was more important than his urges to chat. His hand ran in soothing circles as he tried to lull her to seep, there in his bed, surrounded by three big dogs and a nearly perfect bedroom that was purely masculine and just waiting for the touch of a female. If only he wasn't so teriffied of letting a woman into his life again, into his home again. He had wanted her there forever and she had walked out on him, it made him a little gunshy, well, a lot gunshy. He was protecting his heart.
