"He's just resting, waiting for his big debut, that's all." He stated with a small smile, though he too had let out a large breath of relief when the contraction had ended. It was hard, very hard, to watch her in pain. He gazed at the clock, nearly cursing outloud when he realized they had only been there less than an hour. A first baby could take as long as a day, sometimes longer in rare circumstances. She wasn't any more dialated now than she was when they came in and the contractions were still about fifteen minutes apart. A low breath escaped his lips as he frowned and then forced the expression away, trying to keep himself postive for her sake. "We still need to come up with a middle name..." He murmured softly, hoping to give them both something to think on to keep their minds busy. They had decided on Ryan for a name because it was simple, not to common but not to different either. He was actually thinking maybe they should have something more Italian for his middle name, something to favor his mother. Ryan was about as all American as Justin and so that kind of was a honor to his father but Gia needed something too. She was the one who had to carry the child and then go through this hell to bring him out into the world. Hell, after this, he was buying her a months package at a spa. She could get massaged and pampered every day, she damn well deserved it. This was going to get messy and ugly and while he had tried to prepare himself for it, he knew seeing it in real life,coming out of Gia...well it was going to set him off a bit. He might be the one needing a month of rejuvination when it was all said and down. "Something Italian." He finally added on his thoughts outloud, bringing his eyes back down to hers.
