You'll make some woman a great husband. (She said with a soft smile, leaning forward to kiss his cheek before resting her head against his shoulder. Her hand slipped back to play lightly in the hair at the back of his head as she lay there with him, just resting and needing to be held for a while. She had had a stressful day and talking to him about families and children and whatnot was making her feel a bit too mushy for her liking.)

  • He just smiled and wrapped his arms around her tightly so he could shift to lay down with her on the couch, making sure she was on her good hip which left her with her back to his chest. His hand rested over her stomach as she let out a soft breath and took in the fresh, clean scent of her as his eyes closed comfortably, content to just hold her and soothe her, to offer her whatever comfort her could with his embrace and his touch. Over an hour passed with them laying quietly together, watching tv and it was only about six in the evening by the time. It was amazing how much time seemed like had passed when it had only been a couple of hours but time seemed to like to play tricks on him. When the movie went off her groaned and stretched out, nuzzling his face into the nape of her neck and pressing a kiss there on of her hair. (NT) -- Skeeter, 02.21
