Subject: He grinned lightly, watching her for a second as he stirred the vegetables again before he covered them up and then went to go get Bambi's dinner made. The dog was spoiled rotten with her food and her spring water, not to mention the way her dishes were elevated on a rack so she wouldn't have to lean down to heat, it was right at her head level. He called her and she sat patiently waiting, after sliding into the fridge in her hurry to get in there, for her dinner to be ready and when he stepped back she barked twice - trained to say thank you and then skiddled over there, making Justin wince and shake his head. "She's made more messes at dinner time." He shook his head lightly before the oven beeped and he had to focus on finishing the seasoning and making up their plates.

  • (She watched Bambi with an amused sort of affection.) She's just a big puppy.. it's really sweet how she's so well trained and yet she has a bit of clumsy puppy in her still. (She tipped her head as he went back to making up their plates, then slid down from the counter to collect the wine glasses and the bottle of wine, taking them into the dining room and setting them on the table before she returned to locate silverware and napkins and such and carted those over as well.) It's funny how I can go so long without eating and then the mere smell of good food as me feeling starved. (She said with a small laugh, walking over to lay a small hand on his bare back, looking down at the food he was preparing and then reaching over to pick up a carrot from the vegetables he had laid out, munching on it as she looked up at him. She smiled distractedly and kissed his shoulder.) (NT) -- Gia, 02.25
