Oh see, now he was just looking like an ass. "I just didn't know if you wanted me in here or not when you were bathing." He stated softly, quietly, his words honest. She had been through a lot and he didn't want to freak her out anymore then she already was but now it just seemed like he was making her feel worse - that was the last thing he wanted. He shifted his weight, lifting one hand to run through his hair absently, nervously almost as his fingers fisted there in the lengths. He couldn't help but smirk at the attitude in his son's voice - maybe the lad had a backbone in him somewhere after all. Aye, canna have the bonny lass wanting, now can we? he smirked lightly, thinking of the beautiful blonde girl who was the desire of nearly every eligiable man in the land. It would be a good thing to have her under his power...

He questioned, shifting to push off the wall he was leaning on to come over to her, gently running his hands over her arms as he gazed at her quietly, tenderly. "If you had asked me to sign up for it...you know, like, if they had passed around a sheet or something...I'd still sign up..." He murmured softly, dropping his lips to her temple and lingering there for a moment before he brushed her hair back gently. "Your bath is going to get cold sweetheart." You will take care of her to the best of your abilities. I don't care if she's comfortable, just make sure she's not hurt. He stated before he wrapped up the conversation.
