(She arched a brow as she watched him, using her abilties to make it appear like she wasn't really interested in what the other woman meant to him. She figured since there was danger involved in this case, it was only human nature that she find herself attracted to a good looking and well built intelligent man who just happened to be acting the role of a protective hero. She happened to like intelligence and strength in men, she liked a man who took ultimate control of a situation and she found this man fascinating even when he was angry with her.) No, you definitely won't have to worry about me.. I'm used to working on my own. I've never been hoodwinked in a case like this before, but then again I've never accepted a case like this for the money before. (She shrugged, as though acknowledging the fact that everyone made mistakes and knowing she would learn from this one. Since he had found her before she got the other agents in trouble she figured that the situation was as good as it could be.) Does it usually take her so long to respond to you? (She figured spending so much downtime around this guy was only going to make the situation worse, she was already feeling antsy.. sitting around meant the bad guys were getting a head start.)
