Subject: "I don't do regrets." He stated honestly, shrugging his shoulders before he flipped to the PPV channels and started scrolling through to see if there was anything worth watching. He settled on some comedy, figuring that they had enough drama to last them awhile without watching it in the fictional sense either. He slouched down farther, leaning over to flip off the light next to him, throwing the room into darkness except for the light from the tv and the light from the windows outside. He didn't really like the way she made him feel, like he didn't have a chance so he shouldn't try but he didn't feel like he wanted just a one night fling with her either. It was all very confusing and he didn't really enjoying doing confusing either...

  • (Had she known she was confusing him she would have considered it a failure - and would have decided to be more blunt about the fact that she wasn't there to be courted. She could handle being a playmate for a while, but when the time came to move on she would have to be sure that he understood that that had been her intention all along.. to move on. She didn't stick with one man for long because they inevitably got it in their heads that she loved them and that they could change her and keep her tied down.. but that wasn't, nor would it ever be, her. Kevin Sheridan had found that out the hard way and she didn't intend to repeat that mistake ever again.) So you wouldn't mind Moo Shu Pork at two in the morning? (She asked as he shut off the lights, her brown eyes shimmering with the glow of the television as she shook out the blanket and readjusted to slouch on the sofa in much the same manner as he was.)
