Subject: I'm not a parent or contestant, but I also thought the same thing about the best friend from OK and Mr. Lord. The position Mr. Lord held was for the Miss Contestants and it didn't bother me really had nothing to do with the judging. Also I noticed that some contestants consisently had better lighting then others. Which made them "shine" more. I know certain talents have different lighting, but it should have been consistent in gown & Sportswear. I'm happy with who won, but I noticed the spot light was "down" for one contestant who was seated to possibly take the crown and she did her most of her events in the dark as did a few random others.
