His muscles were tense, and he fought their urge to cramp. "Valda, shut up. Just come with me." Now he was a little pissed, and disgusted with himself. He didn't know what else to do though. He half-carried her out of the church. Just as when he came in, there was nothing outside, a devoid space, bordered by trees. He carry-dragged her away from the church, his jaw clenched. When he judged they were far enough away, he stopped, and let her go. He just stood there, breathing slightly heavily, waiting for her outburst.
