She'd protected him, loved him, and so much more. but then his world had fallen apart and all that he'd loved gone tumbling down. It was not her that was the mistake. it was he. He was the mistake in her life. oh, stupid cat. Hadn't she learned he was no good? Didn't she want a good life...? Did she even realize she'd never get that with him? "Indeed I am. But who's voice from my past is huanting me now?" The confessional door was slit open, one gray eye peering down into the orbs of his kitty. Oh, the swell of happiness in his bosom was uncomparable. "My kitty!" He whispered, sliding open the door enough for her to pass. She'd be the only one that'd witness his confessionals. Maybe she could make sense of them. scooping her up and placing her into the damp lap the rain outside had washed, he stroked her coarse fur with devotion.:.
