Maybe... just maybe... David Fox was right? He once said that he thought the Amiga and Atari versions used 256 colors. he wasn't sure, and nobody else said that, so I assumed that he was getting confused with the FM-Towns version. But maybe... just maybe...

The fan game definitely uses the FM-Towns version (I just checked). I wonder, maybe Amiga or Atari are not 256 color but something else - maybe 32 or 64 colors or something? Back in the day the artists were very good at using palets efficiently. I wonder...
