Belo scores a casting coup W/ Regine & Lucy & Zsa-zsa

Belo scores a casting coup
Three in One: Zsa Zsa, Regine and Lucy

NOTE: Take note of the final comment at the end of
this article . . THAT story about Kris Aquino is
NOT TRUE. And the INSIDE BUZZ already posted about
the whole media sham. So Belo may have been in on
it as well. Because as she said it, she owes so
much to Boy Abunda. Who was tagged as the one
behind that big (false) story about Kris & James.
+ + + + + + dats the Inside Buzz. The real one. + + +

IT was, as many advertising people put it, a dream cast. The
celebrity aesthetic doctor is referring to the new endorsers of her
latest skin-care whitening product line that is being positioned to
target the mass market. Take these names: Zsa Zsa Padilla, Regine
Velasquez and Lucy Torres-Gomez. Three women with substance, all in
one in new Belo Essentials advertising campaign that promotes proper
skin care.

All these years, Belo has been a brand synonymous to the elevation
and redefinition of beauty, a name that is trusted by the most
influential celebrities and local industry icons. At a time when
their former endorser jumped ship due to a controversy allegedly
involving her husband with a former Belo employee, the new
advertising campaign certainly comes at a very strategic time.

Zsa Zsa, Lucy and Regine have been three of the most loyal female
clients of the Belo Medical Group and their being onboard for the
new whitening product line will certainly boost the goal of Belo to
reach out to a wider market. As many already know, Zsa Zsa didn’t
have qualms a few years ago announcing to everyone that life starts
at 40 in giant Belo billboards. On the other hand, Lucy and husband
Richard Gomez also swears by the services and products of the Belo
group that continually make them look and feel good.

It was interesting to know that Regine was one of Belo’s earliest
clients. “I think I was still in my teens when my very first manager
Ronnie Henares brought me to Dra. Belo. I remember, wala pa nga
silang signage noon duon sa maliit nilang clinic sa Makati. Ilang
dekada na rin pala ang nagdaan, and walang masyadong nakakaalam na
Belo baby talaga ako,” explains Regine.

This campaign is not just a labor of love, it’s also a family
affair. Dr. Belo’s daughter Cristalle Henares is with her in the
creation of this new line of products. Belo’s son Quark Henares, a
respected film director, enthusiastically took on the creative side
of the launch as TV commercial director. Together with ad agency
Publicis Manila, Quark’s team captured the three celebrities at
their best and turned the concept into a truly beautiful 30-second
TV commercial.

The three endorsers were asked about their preferred products from
the new line during the intimate media launch at Kimono Ken recently
and surprisingly, they knew the products very well, explaining to us
the rituals they follow to achieve beautiful and fair skin. Regine
shares her beauty secret: I always clean my face at night and put
night cream before I go to sleep. When you go out kasi, your face
gets dirty with all the dirt and pollution around. I use the Pore
Minimizing Whitening Face Wash twice a day, when I wake up and
before I sleep. I also use the smoothening whitening body bar. Its
micro-beads exfoliate my skin and removes dead skin.

“Syempre, you cannot achieve star white skin overnight,” stressed
Zsa Zsa, adding “and you should never forget about the basics like
washing your face frequently, having enough sleep, eating well, all
these contribute to the final desired effect you want. And since
these products are being positioned to capture the mass market,
they’re priced really reasonably so more people will be able to
afford these products and sustain yung pagpapaganda nila, di ba?”

The very fair-skinned Lucy says she never goes out without applying
sunblock. I don’t want to experiment when it comes to skin care. I
don’t want to take chances. I want to always be sure and safe of the
products I use. Sigurista ako, no! I’m thrilled that this product
line is easily affordable to everyone. Now, everyone can benefit
from the Belo expertise.”

With Zsa Zsa, Regine and Lucy around, I don’t think Vicki Belo
still have time to miss her most controversial former endorser.
