• He'd spent a long day at work and was looking forward to just relaxing with her, so he hurried, taking the steps two at a time to get to her door. It could be a relaxing night, but knowing her, it could just as easily turn into a huge headache and a disaster. He paused there, retracing his steps and remembering the name of a boy being said. • She was kind of flirting with him. Teasing, really. It was playful, anyways. The boy soon had her laughing again and she pulled her feet up onto the couch, tucking her knees up to her chest. This boy .. she remembered his lips now, how they had felt against hers .. remembered his eyes and the things he would say. She turned around a little and finally took full notice of her boyfriend, letting out a sigh and a half hearted smile. Things with Travis seemed so difficult sometimes, compared to her old real relationship with someone. Someone her own age. She put down the phone after having said her goodbyes and moved on over to him, pressing a kiss to his lips "Hey baby, long day? You look stressed.." He sighed a little - maybe it was just a culmination of everything that had gone on since they'd gotten together - getting his face kicked in, with the added insult of having to chase her down and try to convince her anew everyday that a serious, monogomaus relationship would be the best for them. "You are worth it, but I'm tired of fighting the odds, fighting everything - fighting you. • If he noticed she had an interest in the relationship now she didn't see what his problem was, or why he couldn't just accept her offer to start over again. She tried to silence herself, realising what a fool she must look like. How much of a kid she must look like to him.
