Some people are so predictable!!!!!

I am doing a mount for a friend. He is the King of wanting something for nothing, and never being happy. Actually, it is the deer with the rough cape from the other post.

First off, I gave up a full day of hunting during the peak of the rut to help him find this buck (his best). I put in a solid tracking job to find this gut shot buck, help drag it out of the woods and gut it.

He stopped by my house the other night so I could show him the mount.....especially the hair damage. The first thing he says is..."Wow, the neck sure shrunk!!!".....then he says..."are you gonna' leave the eyes that way?"

What a piece of work he is!!!! (I have to laugh) I'm still not sure what he was talking about with the eyes. I feel that I do a very good job with the eyes. And the neck....I ordered a form just slightly bigger than the cape and had some difficulty sewing it up. I DP'd this mount so there wasn't any shrinkage.

As far as the eyes go...I humored him by reshaping the eyes while he was there. He said..."that's better" Here is where I laugh again. I DIDN'T CHANGE THE EYES A BIT!!!!!! I just worked my tool around the lids to make it look good.

I'll me glad when I have cash in hand and that mount is out the door. Here is the kicker though......he is the type of guy that would throw the deer in the back of his truck and speed off.....beating the crap out of it and then blaming it on me.
