Subject: Squirrels

Okay ... I just received 10 squirrels (I have no idea what to do with 10 squirrels) Anyway they were shipped frozen from MO this last Monday and they finally arrived on Saturday. Temps have been in the 30's-40's so pretty chilled. I thought the little guys would be done for sure. They are all skinned out completely and when I opened the box there was a little smell, but nothing like some packages I have received. Some skins were semi-cool and some were a little warm. I took the ones that were warm and opened the little bags they were individually wrapped in and pulled on the hair, no hair pulled out. I have put them back into the freezer and plan on tanning them with krowtan, but was curious as to everyone's thoughts ... do you think they will be okay? Should I order some stop rot and brush on. Never really dealt with squirrels before so not sure the best way to handle. Thanks in advance!!
